I swapped the stock Duncan Designed pickups in my Squier VM Jaguar with Fender Pure Vintage '65 Jaguar pickups. I compare all pickup positions, with the strangle switch off.
I DI'd the signal and reamped into my Plexi-inspired lunchbox amp, set clean at in 1986 bass specs: Presence 6, Bass 1, Mid 10, Treble 6, Vol. 3.
The amp was loaded down by a Suhr Reactive Load.
OH 412 MRBW MED C87T-05 impulse response from the Ownhammer GNR collection.
Both Fender pickups measured at 6.55kohm DC resistance. The Duncan Designed bridge and neck pickups measured at ~11kohm and 6.08kohm respectively.
