In this video, we take a brand new reproduction M1A1 Paratrooper
Carbine made by Inland Mfg. out to the range for its first shots; or
at least we try to. Using 3 different magazines and 3 different types
of ammunition, we experienced several different malfunctions. These included failure to go into battery, failure to cock the hammer, stove piping, and a couple different feeding issues.
This carbine looks very nice and authentic, and we were really
planning on a fun time and brought at least 150 rounds with us
expecting reliability. Instead, we never were able to make it through
an entire magazine without something happening. We will release an update video soon, after speaking with the manufacturer, but for now we must regrettably give this one a fail. It will get a second chance later though. It really is a good looking reproduction.
