Good coffee is our passion. On our channel, you'll learn everything important about making great coffee yourself. From barista craftsmanship, latte art, the best espresso machines and coffee grinders, to recipes for cold brew or coffee cocktails. We test machines and barista tools as well as coffees for you.
As coffee makers, we run a coffee school in Basel, Switzerland. In our courses, we impart coffee knowledge from the plant to the cup. Roasting, sensory analysis, barista skills. All this knowledge is not abstract for us, but comes from everyday life. In Nicaragua, we operate the Santa Rita coffee farm, in Basel a roastery and the Café Frühling, as well as the Kaffeemacher Café at the Basel SBB train station.

Our team is led by German and Swiss coffee masters. Benjamin Hohlmann was the German Cup Tasters Champion in 2017 and Swiss Brewers Cup Champion in 2014. Philipp Schallberger was a two-time Swiss Barista Champion. Felix Hohlmann is the Vice Roasting Champion in Switzerland and was a four-time Vice Barista Champion. #Kaffeemacher
