In this video, I'll take you on a hike and ride on my electric skateboard through Tai Tam Country Park 大潭郊野公. This beautiful park is located in the eastern part of the Hong Kong island, and it's a great place to hike and take amazing photos.
There are four reservoirs located within the park and it's surrounded by many mountain peaks that offer great hiking. Tai Tam Tuk Reservoir and Dam 大潭篤水塘水壩 are very popular places for photo opportunities.
Tai Tam Country Park is nestled in the eastern corner of Hong Kong Island. From Jardine's Lookout in the north, it sprawls across rolling slopes of The Twins to end at the southern border on Stanley Gap Road. The western border lies in Wong Nai Chung Gap, while Tai Tam Road marks its eastern boundary. These reservoirs were built between 1888 and 1917. There are also remnants of war, such as abandoned anti-aircraft gun platforms.
