He has worked for over 12 years at international management consulting firm dealing with conventional and renewable energy for some of the most important multinational corporations in the energy sector. Entrepreneur by nature, over the past 5 years he has founded various successful start-up. Passionate about sailing and wind, in 2008, to deal with high-altitude wind energy by supporting a research group of Politecnico di Torino. In 2010 he founded Kitenergy (www.kitenergy.net) with the aim of industrializing the technology for the exploitation of high-altitude winds and to carry it on a commercial scale.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
