Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is on a tour of Basti today. The CM inaugurated the Saraswati Shishu Mandir and performed a groundbreaking ceremony for a new project. Amidst tight security arrangements by the district administration, CM Yogi spoke about the National Education Policy 2020. He stated that the policy is the foundation for a new India, blending education with heritage and technology. He noted that technology has made education more accessible, allowing content prepared by one teacher to be shared across educational institutions nationwide. The CM also recalled that when the first Saraswati Shishu Mandir was established in Gorakhpur, it had only five students, whereas today there are more than 12,000 such schools.
