Описание: PSALM 121 STRONG AND POWERFUL PRAYER FOR GOD TO HELP

Psalm 121 is one of the most beloved and comforting songs found in Holy Scripture. Known as "The Song of Steps" or "The Song of Pilgrimage", this Psalm is attributed to King David and is an expression of confidence and security in God, who is the help and protector of His people.

The Psalm begins with a profound question: "I lift up my eyes to the mountains; where does my help come from?" (verse 1). This inquiry reflects a sincere search for help in times of difficulties and challenges. However, the psalmist quickly responded confidently and recorded, "My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth" (verse 2). Here, we are reminded of the greatness and power of our God, who rules over all things.

Then the psalmist declares constant vigilance and divine protection. He asserts that God will not allow the feet to be moved, and that he who keeps us neither slumbers nor sleeps (verses 3,4). It's a powerful and comforting image: the Lord is ever alert, watching over His children and keeping them safe at all times.

The psalmist goes on to describe the Lord's protection as a shadow on the right hand (verse 5). Like a shadow protecting us from the sun's scorching rays, God surrounds us with His presence and keeps us from all harm. It doesn't matter if it's day or night, the Lord is a steadfast and faithful shield.

Psalm 121 concludes with a promise of continued divine protection. God will guard our lives, watch over our comings and goings, from now and forevermore (verses 7,8). This promise assures us that we can trust God completely in all of life's circumstances, knowing that He is our constant guardian.
