REMASTERED VERSION AVAILABLE ON MY NEW ALBUM "ART IS A VERB": https://store.cdbaby.com/cd/zmannzilla
An attempt to capture the sound of a hymn that one might sing as part of Cthulhu's cult, if one were a rapper with slight vocal issues. All images are from DeviantArt and I included their user names so you can locate them. Lyrics and annotations follow.

LYRICS:
Woe to thee, O seas and earth... For the stars have sent a beast of wrath, knowing only strange aeons in which death may die
Let those who hath understanding reckon the torpor of the beast, as it is written in these inhuman words...
Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn
Foretold in tomes, and whispered on a fisherman's lips
They say his home is buried in a watery pit
It's made of stone, quarried from beyond the expanse
It's not technology or magic, no, it's far more advanced than that
They call the city R'lyeh, and they say
That's where the master lays, dreaming 'til the blessed day
The Black Chorus can no longer sing "VOKOL"
And in that moment we can hear a call that can't be ignored no more
Millenia past of plotting and planning
beyond a mortal understanding of our celestial standing
All coming together in a moment both amazing and maddening
His followers praying to be front row as it happens
And In the last dying embers of dusk, before humanity's final dawn
Chanting scriptures from the Necronomicon
I'm a believer and you will be too
It'll be the last sane thought that you knew, before you met
CTHULHU
CTHULHU
CTHULHU (IA! IA! IA!)
CTHULHU (IA! IA! IA!)
IA! IA! IA!
Beyond immortal, ancient to an antediluvian
A leviathan in slumber for vigintillions of years
The Elder Ones, The Mi-Go, even the Polyps and Yith
Would never be able to loose R'lyeh from the Old One's grip
And so a truce appropriated the lands
They met the demands of Grand Cthulhu and his Xothian clan
Construction ensued, the Shoggoth were the tools that they used
to form the non-Euclidean buildings and rooms
Then infuse them with the cosmic powered gifts of his race
The secrets of time and space in every inch of the place
And just in case you heard R'lyeh was just a prison, it isn't
Entombing Great Cthulhu took a natural cataclysm
A disaster that we humans call the First Ice Age
To many ancients a grave, but to him it's but a lullabye
That is not dead which can eternally lie
That's why we stand by, willing to die, to say "Hi"
CTHULHU
CTHULHU
CTHULHU (IA! IA! IA!)
CTHULHU (IA! IA! IA!)
IA! IA! IA!
So if you strive to know the secrets that should never be known
And if your dreams are filled with voices calling you home
Your fear is natural, triggered by actual things beyond belief
And already penned by Alhazred in the Kitab Al-Azif
The grip of his influence touches every mortal mind
His voice has permeated all time
The panic's why we try to murder each other in the name of blessed love and salvation
Our minds have already seen the devastation of every nation
We dream of Armageddon
Then pray to the divine it only happens to the people that we're better than
And in this seed of narcissism is the key
To Grand Cthulhu's every major manipulation of our species
But blessed are the ones who accept
That we are equally doomed, and there'll be nobody left
So if you truly care, and believe that fair is fair,
Then I'll be overjoyed to see you there, the day we call
CTHULHU
CTHULHU
CTHULHU (IA! IA! IA!)
CTHULHU (IA! IA! IA!)
CTHULHU

ANNOTATIONS:
Full disclosure: I am not a sound engineer and I suck at Fruity Loops. Also, all my equipment is donated or lifted from garbage bins. So if you're less than impressed with the sound quality, I am not surprised. This was a project for funsies and I'm not afraid to suck out loud.
I did as much research as I could on all the pronunciations, but also had to make some compromises to maintain flow and rhythm, so please be forgiving if the way I say something isn't the way you'd say it. Seriously guys, it took me like 2 days to get as close as I did with the whole "Cthulhu fhtagn" line.
Yes, the intro is a somewhat blatant homage to "The Number Of The Beast" by Iron Maiden. Kind of a last minute idea I stuck in there before the final mixdown.
While most of the mythos, names, and events in the song are accurate to established Lovecraftian/Mythos writings, I did slip a unique reference in to "Fall Of Cthulhu" by BOOM Comics (specifically, the reference to the Black Chorus singing "VOKOL").
Theology contained in the third verse may not be wholly canon. Please consult your cult leader or Lovecraftian care professional before deciding if these philosophies are right for you.
