Lost mama duck and her ducklings

Описание: Waiting for a bus near the River District between Vancouver and Burnaby, I see a mama duck leading her entourage of babies across a street... there are cars, people with dogs... the duck is stressed. A woman I interacted with says that apparently they had made it all the way across Marine Drive, a busy 4-lane not too far away. After it became apparent that the duck had corralled her brood in a fenced in area, said woman bystander and myself joined forces (the video now off) to chaperone the ducks to a leafy area down the street. Never herded ducks before, but it was reasonably easy to do. Sadly, I had no idea where a body of water might be nearby -- the one ditch in the area was dry - but they're probably better off in leafy shrubbery than in the middle of the road. Now I'm going to worry about the ducks!
