Описание: Every year, we honor the founder of our community in NYC: Chief Rabbi Wentworth Authur Matthews. The majority of the congregations in the NYC area and beyond are "descendants" of his temple and his teaching. We take this time out to honor his memory and give thanks to TMH. Because through the late great Rabbi, many of us were introduced to TMH's laws, presence and greatness. We give thanks to the Living God, and Everlasting King.

We are B'nai Adath Kol Beth Yisrael (B.A.K.B.Y.), a 67-year-old Israelite congregation based in the Bedford-Stuyvesant part of Brooklyn, NY. We are a non-messianic congregation, sometimes called Black Jews. We follow the laws of the Torah, given to Moses and listed in the Five Books of Moses. We mainly teach from the Old Testament as that is our canon. Teachings may include sections from the first five books, the prophets or instructions on how to best observe the Holy Days. During the afternoon service, we host a Q&A session host by our Rabbi; Baruch A. Yehudah. The goal is to provide answers according to the desires and requirements of TMH, the goal of B'nai Adath is to follow the guidance of TMH as best we can. We are thankful that you've decided to visit with us, even if it's just for a little while.
