FASTEST WAY TO LEVEL UP IN FINAL FANTASY 9!!

This is a trick I've known about since the game first came out, but I've never seen anyone make a detailed video about it. So I decided to make one about it.

It's pretty simple - on disc 3, or when you get the Blue Narciss ship after visiting Lindblum, you can use it to gain a blue magic spell for Quina called Level 5 Death. This spell instant kills any enemies whose levels are a multiple of 5. You can learn this from multiple enemies, but the easiest way is to sail to the shoreline by Esto Gaza and encounter Whale Zombies.

From there you can use it to kill Grand Dragons at Popos Heights, which you can access by going through Gizamaluke's Grotto and entering the room with the moogles (there's a vine you can climb). From there, just enter battle with them, hope you don't die, and cast Level 5 Death immediately. This always kills them since they are level 60.

One battle yields 35,208 EXP total, or 8802 EXP per person. You also get 3 AP and 2,604 Gil so it's a nice way to learn abilities and earn some money. I went from level 21 to level 45 in just one hour, and keep in mind I wasn't even rushing it! Really great way to level up your characters if you hate grinding for levels.

And YES you can also defeat these dragons during your first visit to Gizamaluke's Grotto on disc 1, but it's more complicated and the chances of dying are higher...so not as efficient.
