Outfit Studio 6: Intro to NifSkope (and how to reorder meshes)

Описание: This video is a tutorial for beginners on how to install NifSkope, set NifSkope as the default app for opening NIF files when you double-click on them, open multiple NifSkope windows at the same time, get a rough idea of how to navigate the NifSkope window, and re-order mesh pieces in NifSkope by cutting and pasting branches in the Block List.

Between this video and a future one I have planned about optimizing NIFs, I will only be scratching the surface of what NifSkope can do. While I am reasonably fluent in using NifSkope in the outfit workflow process, I do not claim to be a great expert, as there are many functionalities I have never used. The only ‘real’ NifSkope activity I will be showing in this video is how to re-order meshes because that is the first thing we will need to do in the upcoming tutorials. Also note that there is so much to learn about NifSkope that it can be rather overwhelming, and I did not want to explode anyone’s brain. We will use NifSkope more in later videos, and I will parse out the necessary information as it is needed.

I consider NifSkope to be an indispensable tool for doing outfit work for Skyrim. Get it, learn it, use it. If you are eager to jump right in - or are just looking for specific info, tips or tricks - there are some great resources that you can use to help understand its capabilities.
