Longbow needs 30% Skaven/Infantry in order to hit a one shot bodyshot on Assassins. I ran 20% Armor with 10% Chaos and 10% Skaven. 30% Skaven/Armor in order to 2SBS a stormvermin. Easily achieved with bloodshot in melee. I almost always specialize into anti SV as I view them as the highest threat elite when factoring in their quantity. I should have gone 10% Infantry, 10% Armor, 20% Skaven.
Wizards/Gasrats are an easy headshot. Otherwise 2 charged body shots. Bloodshot instantly allows the snipe while under pressure.
Did not ever struggle with damage or damage uptime. Longbow does good work and amazing damage with headshots. Unlike Huntsman's Longbow, the Elf Longbow is easy to use and not as punishing on miss. Elf Longbow can be used to a limited extent versus horde if they line up. Doesn't do amazing berserker damage on bodyshot, but can be used in a pinch.
Conservative shooter can be swapped out for Hunter, and the CDR on trinket can be swapped for crit chance. I play it safe this game and go with less potential damage at the cost of a safer ammunition supply.
5 - THP on cleave is better than headshot or crit due to ease of use.
10 - Bloodshot makes an powerful bow twice as good. Also doubles ult arrows. Useful for quickly 2 bodyshots to kill a Stormvermin.
15 - Enhanced Power because ranged damage boost.
20 - Team Heal is the best option by far.
25 - Bonus cooldown is better ult uptime.
30 - Kurnous' Reward because with Blood Shot 6 arrows are fired for massive ammunition gains.
How I rate the Longbow:
Role: Elite and special sniping, monster damage
Reach out and touch: 9 (Great range and perfect accuracy, some drop due to projectile gravity)
Damage: 8 (Very high damage on headshot or crit, good damage to armor/infantry on bodyshot)
Pants Down Avoidance Factor: 6 (Limited ability to quickly deal with massive threats, but basically no reload leads to a consist damage output)
Sustain: 3+4 (Kurnous' Reward keeps things topped off and so does conservative shooter. Swapping for Hunter is a possibility)
Reach is a combination of accuracy and damage drop off.
Damage is just overall damage to all targets.
PDAF is a general metric for how a weapon does under pressure and reload speed.
Sustain is the ability to deal with specials, elites, and monsters, all while never needing ammunition from outside sources.
