New Zealand's MOST POPULAR - The Lake Dunstan Trail. 55km with a vertical 580m ascent

Описание: We rode the Lake Dunstan Cycle Trail in perfect conditions; a weekday so it wasn't busy, visibility was excellent, it was dry and ambient temperatures. BUT it can be dangerous, it is a long and exposed track with unprotected big drop-offs and blind corners. We met inexperienced riders on the track who found it a challenge and scary so it really is only a track for compitent cyclists.

We hired our ebikes from "Dunstan Bike Trails Limited" in Cromwell. It was £76pp including the transfer back from Clyde to Cromwell. The ebikes were in very good condition and the owners were very friendly.

Trail Safety:

• Be aware of the trail edges with steep drop-offs
• Only ride in daylight hours
• Be aware of severe weather conditions, heat, high winds, rain and cold
• Take plenty water, warm clothing and food
• Be aware mobile signal is patchy
