Once the home of the Russian Grand Prix, the Sochi Autodrom’s story took a different turn after international motorsport left the country. The GP layout was permanently closed in November 2023, and since then only the shorter layout remains, repurposed for local and regional use. In April 2024 the venue was rebranded as Sirius Autodrom, marking the quiet end of what was once a Formula 1 stage.
