Knowing when to float in poker is a key skill that any aspiring poker player should be mastering. Many players will be on either end of the spectrum; floating too wide or floating too tightly.
Finding the correct hands and situations for optimal floating is broken down simply in this poker strategy video!
I take you through the hand categories that you should be looking to float with; flush draws, open ended straight draws, gutshot straight draws, backdoor flush draws, two overcards, backdoor straight draws.
I also look at some factors to consider when deciding whether to float. Remember that the effective stack size is vitally important!
