As a Pilates instructor living with EDS and POTS, these are the exercises I do on a daily basis when I am dealing with an injury or have chronic pain. These exercises are great to do everyday just to keep the core strong, add mobility and flexibility and reduce pain. In this video, I have just had an acute injury to my lower back, SI joint and with some pelvis rotation. It left me in debilitating pain for weeks but the first few days I was in misery. After 2.5 weeks of doing these exercises daily and with the level of movement I could do. I listened to my body and how it was feeling. I was able to be living back to normal in about 2.5 weeks and living with minor pain.
Listen to your body when doing these exercises. Be aware of your pain levels. Don't push it. Remember if you can do 2 of a couple of these, that's enough to start getting mobility back. If you can't do some exercises skip them and try again when you're feeling stronger and like you are making some improvements.
