House Destruction - Sound Effects Library

Описание: This library wasn´t in ”todo” list at all when I was planning my Kuulas Sound webshop. When I built my Foley stage I needed to demotlish a old big house to give it room. When demolition group started to work I just setup my gears and pushed the rec button.

In the end I had recorded for 5 days. Recording was challenge as the excavator was really big and loud. I tried to get my stereo microphone as close the sound as possible with boom. But always it wasn’t possible because safety areas around the excavator. I also recorded actions with LCR setup which turned out pretty nice.

This package is not ”clean destruction” sounds like sound designed or separately recorded individual sounds. Most of the sounds have excavator sounds on the background and on some of them I have been trying to minimize that effect. A few files are really heavily processed which you can hear from them. These one have also alternative versions which are less processed. But recordings are made in small village so there are no any other background noises like heavy traffic going on. Window crashes are recorded during the night without the demolition group so these are clean recordings.

House Destruction is useful package for example scenes which are loud and you need some real wood creaks and crashing effects to get the right feel of power of demolition. Alternatively, you can use these as for ambience too. Some hits of the excavator bucket are really powerful and I could imagine them to be useful for big robotic steps too as for many other heavy hitting things.
