What Has Changed in the Security Sector Since General Christopher Became Minister of Defence?
It is remarkable how the nation praised him during his tenure as Chief of Army Staff, particularly at the time of his resignation, for the role he was perceived to have played in improving security.
However, since he assumed office as Minister of Defence, it can almost be said that the security situation has somewhat deteriorated compared to when he previously held office, given the increasing number of t+rr+rist atttcks.
We hope that all stakeholders in the security sector will work together to bring these security challenges to an end for the development of Nigeria and its people, because there can be no development without peace.
