This is the complete newsflash that was shown on both BBC-1 and BBC-2. On BBC-2 it came in a programme junction, but on BBC-1 it interrupted See For Yourself.
Please note, comments complaining that the BBC "got it wrong" and the plane was a Boeing 737-400, not a DC9, will be deleted. This was the first report and information was very limited. The type of plane was corrected in the next bulletin.
