Commuters were asked to disembark from a train at Admiralty station on the North-South Line after a commuter’s power bank caught fire on Monday (Mar 16).
SMRT Trains president Lam Sheau Kai said the emergency communication button was activated, and staff responded after a woman — believed to be the owner of the power bank — put out the fire. She was given first aid and later conveyed to Woodlands Hospital.
