This symposium depicts care teams that are utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities to address trauma. Presentations focus on treating medical trauma, Trust-Based Relational Interventions (TBRI), and understanding medical traumatic stress. The session also dives into gender-based violence, an issue identified by one center providing specific interventions aimed at coping with and learning to manage stress.
