About the Speakers:
🔹 Dr. Daniel J. Wallace: Daniel J Wallace MD, FACP, MACR is a board-certified internist and rheumatologist. A Clinical Professor of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, he is the Associate Director of the Rheumatology Fellowship Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he also serves on the Board of Governors. He is also the co-founder of Lupus LA!
🔹 Dr. Leanna M. Wise: Dr. Leanna Wise has extensive training in dealing with complex systemic autoimmune diseases, including but not limited to lupus, inflammatory myopathies, and vasculitis. She is also well-versed in the management of spondyloarthritides, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, and fibromyalgia.
🔹 Dr. Andrew Bitmansour: Andrew earned his PhD in immunology from the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical Center. His research examined the impact and response of the immune system towards infectious diseases and cancer. Andrew next pivoted his focus over the past 9 years on the clinical development of therapies for the treatment of autoimmune diseases.
🔹 Dr. Zoë Indigo: Dr. Zoë Indigo is a board-certified dermatologist who received her M.D. from Wayne State School of Medicine and completed her residency at UCLA, training in medical and cosmetic dermatological surgery. As a Black dermatologist with a deep understanding of skin of color, she is a leader in the community, serving on national executive boards and the American Academy of Dermatology Communications Committee. By blending her love of art and science, Dr. Zoë provides the highest level of patient care.
