Papules = red, painful bumps without pus.
Pustules = similar, but with a little white or yellow center (aka pus from bacteria + clogged pores).
Both respond to salicylic acid (deep pore cleaning) and benzoyl peroxide (bacteria killer). They’re even better together! 🔥 If stubborn, you can add an OTC Adapalene gel too.
Whatever you do… please don’t pick them! 😩 It just makes things worse.
