Hey everyone, Happy New Year! 🎉
I’ve created a Doctor Strange style portal effect using Houdini 21.
The portal is built using particles and curves, along with ground dust and particle interaction to add realistic environmental response and depth.

The scene is rendered using Karma XPU, and I’ve rendered multiple AOVs to give more flexibility and control during compositing.
This video showcases only the portal render.
