Identity and Righteousness
🎯 Q: What does it mean to be complete in Christ rather than in relationships? A: You are complete in Christ, not in marriage, friendships, or parenting—start there to run the race well and have flourishing relationships, loving your spouse without needing them, being complete in Him first.
✨ Q: How does Jesus' blood differ from just providing forgiveness? A: Jesus' blood speaks a better thing than forgiveness, making us innocent before God as if we've never sinned, enabling us to walk in the light free from guilt, shame, and condemnation, delivered from darkness and translated into the kingdom of His Son.
⚔️ Q: What does it mean to reckon yourself dead to sin according to Romans 6? A: Reckon yourself dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus, embracing your righteous identity and putting on the garment of righteousness made for you by God as a free gift that raises your life value, with the old self crucified with Christ so the body of sin might be done away with (Romans 6:6).
Purpose and Kingdom Living
🎯 Q: What was Jesus' purpose beyond being our suffering savior? A: Jesus modeled what life looks like in Him, showing the way to live, love, and manifest the kingdom of God on earth, calling us to follow Him and step into our purpose, not just to be our suffering savior.
👑 Q: When is the cross's purpose truly fulfilled? A: The cross fulfilled its purpose when our nature is restored back to love and we walk in the light as He is in the light, not when a man prays a prayer to go to heaven.
🛡️ Q: How does the enemy try to stop the kingdom of God? A: The enemy tries to stop the kingdom by getting us to take life personally, focusing on circumstances instead of His love and grace, and taking on the identity of our problems instead of wearing Christ.
Spiritual Warfare and Victory
⚔️ Q: What are the three ways we overcome the enemy? A: We overcome through the blood of the Lamb, the word of our testimony, and loving not our own lives unto death, living for His name and glory, not our own.
🎯 Q: What is the good fight of faith? A: Your fight is the good fight of faith—believing what Jesus paid for and who you are in His sight, even in weakness, running back to Him, staying washed and connected to keep marching.
Transformation and Grace
🔥 Q: What is the true purpose of the gospel beyond personal blessings? A: The gospel is meant to transform us, not just serve our self-centered desires for blessings—preaching should focus on change to become more like Jesus, not just making people feel better.
💪 Q: How does grace function beyond just forgiveness? A: The grace of God empowers transformation and living apart from sin—grace is God's empowering, renewing power that came even greater than sin, and if preached without transformation, it's being perverted.
🕊️ Q: What is the Holy Spirit's primary role in believers' lives? A: The Holy Spirit's role is to make us look more like Jesus, glorify Him, reveal truth, and disciple us, not just meet all our needs, as some needs are actually wants and idolatry dictating our disposition.
Dangers and Warnings
⚠️ Q: What should believers beware of according to biblical warnings? A: Beware of being robbed or held captive by empty deceit, traditions of men, and wrong thinking that is contrary to Christ, being careful not to be plundered by theories and thinking from man, not God.
🔥 Q: What happens when you live for yourself instead of God? A: Continuing to live for yourself, like putting metal in a microwave, will destroy you—you weren't made for you but for Him, as the manufacturer's handbook, the Bible, says you were made for Him, not the other way around.
Relationships and Perspective
💔 Q: How should we view people struggling with sin differently? A: Instead of crying over people and labeling them by their past, we should cry for them, pray for their transformation, and see their potential to live like Christ as God does, without disqualifying anyone.
🚫 Q: Why is self-pity spiritually dangerous? A: Self-pity and feeling sorry for yourself is the loneliest place, only attracting sympathy but not true freedom—compassion is important, but staying in self-pity doesn't make you free because you're more than your sad story.
