Prior to starting the event, set up the floor plan as shown. Place the Barbell and Jump Rope on the opposite side of the field of play from the climbing rope.
Begin this event standing behind the line by the climbing rope. After “3, 2, 1 … go,” run to your Jump Rope and complete 100 Double-Unders, then 10 Squat Cleans at the first weight, then run back to the climbing rope for 5 Legless Rope Climbs. Continue this sequence with descending reps and increased load each round. You may have assistance loading the Barbell for each weight or may stage multiple Barbells. Time stops when you complete the touch above the 15-foot mark on your final Rope Climb.
Score will be the total time taken to complete the event or the total number of repetitions completed before the 20-minute time cap. There is no tiebreak.
Movement Standards
Double-Under: You must remain in front of the tape line. If your feet touch or cross the line at any time, the rep will not count. The Rope passes under the feet twice for each jump. The Rope must spin forward for the rep to count. Only successful jumps are counted, not attempts. You may NOT have assistance resetting your Jump Rope during the event.
Squat Clean: You must remain in front of the tape line. If your feet touch or cross the line at any time, the rep will not count. Each rep starts with the Barbell on the ground. Collars must be placed outside the plates. Deliberately bouncing the Barbell between reps will not count. The clean must be caught in the squat position. The crease of your hip must clearly pass below the top of your knees in the bottom position. You must remain in motion until you reach the bottom position. A Power Clean followed by a Front Squat will not count. The Clean must be caught in the squat position. The crease of your hip must clearly pass below the top of your knees in the bottom position. You must remain in motion until you reach the bottom
position.
The rep is credited when your hips and knees reach full extension and the bar is supported in the front-rack position with your elbows in front of the Barbell. If you lower the Barbell before you reach extension, the rep will not count. You MAY have assistance adding weight to your Barbell, OR you may use multiple Barbells.
Legless Rope Climb: Start each rep with both feet on the ground. You may jump into the Rope Climb. You MAY NOT use your legs to assist with the ascent. The rep is credited when one hand clearly touches above the designated 15-foot mark. You may choose to touch a fixed object, such as a beam or the ceiling, so long as the object is at least 15 feet high. You may use your legs to descend the Rope ONLY AFTER you have clearly made the touch at the top of the climb. There are no additional requirements during the descent of the climb.
Prior to starting the event, set up the floor plan as shown. Place the Barbell and Jump Rope on the opposite side of the field of play from the climbing rope.
