In today’s video, I’m back on Truman Lake with my little brother, putting in work on brush piles for Fall crappie fishing.
The bite wasn’t easy — recent rain, cooler temperatures, and shifting wind had the crappie tight-lipped and glued to cover. We had to stay mobile, work multiple brush piles, and really finesse fish with LiveScope, minnows, and jigs to get bites.
After bouncing around several spots and pulling a few quality fish, we finally connected with a monster crappie buried deep in the brush — one of those heart-pounding moments you fish for.
