The Weird Gun Glitch is possible in Black Ops 2! You must do it with the CTF Mod game mode which can be found in CODTV. You can only do it with weapons that have a different knife animation to that of the default knife animation: so that would mean riot shield, tac knife, and ballistic knife. Written tutorial and notes can be found below.

Written Steps:
1. Knife C4
2. Wait for screen to say "Press X to spawn in" then change teams from either ISA/Militia to Milita/ISA and pick the same class (as the one you used to knife the C4).
3. Enjoy
(If you want to use combat axes, make sure you have another class similar to your main one with C4 but with combat axes. Do steps 1 to 3, and once you have done it, just change teams from ISA/Militia to Militia/ISA (WITHOUT knifing the C4 again) and just change to your 2nd class!)

Notes:
1. Only works on maps that does not have a suicide spot.
2. Cannot trickshot with bots and do the weird gun glitch on BO2, because that CTF Glitch for trickshotting alters the settings for the CTF Mod game mode.
3. You cannot inflict damage onto another player/no player can die by another player or else the glitch will not work for the rest of the game. You will have the restart the game!
4. Obviously can only be done in private match (to my knowledge).
