Dotted Porcelain Mug Tutorial

Описание: Here's another video tutorial for you, this time a dotted mug! The possibilities are endless for colors and designs, and I love the texture of the paint. Make one for yourself and give a matching one to a friend!

Supplies needed for this project:

• 16 oz porcelain mug
• DIY Mandala Stones dotting tools (1-16 set) (I used: https://www.amazon.com/Mandala-Dottin...)
• Toothpick
• Nail stylus tools
• FolkArt Multi-Surface Acrylic paints in the colors of your choice. I used: Moon Yellow, Pure Orange, Pink Melon, and Dove Gray.
• Paint palette or paint cups

When you're finished with this project, you can heat-cure it in the oven to make it top-rack dishwasher safe.

Steps to oven-cure:
1.) Allow the mug to air dry for a couple of days before curing.
2.) Set it on a piece of parchment paper on a room-temperature cookie sheet. Place cookie sheet inside a cold oven and close the oven door.
3.) Set oven temp to 350 degrees and turn it on. When temp reaches 350, set timer for 30 minutes.
4.) After 30 minutes, turn off the oven but do not open the door. Set timer for another 30 minutes.
5.) When time is up, open the door to the oven and let the mug cool completely before handling.
6.) Wait 72 hours (3 days) before washing.
