पहिले जस्तो देशव्यापी प्रचारमा केन्द्रित हुने शैलीभन्दा फरक, यसपटक उनी पूर्ण रूपमा आफ्नो निर्वाचन क्षेत्रमा केन्द्रित छन्। विशेष गरी बालेन शाह झापा–५ मा सक्रिय भएपछि यस क्षेत्रको चुनावी माहोल थप रोचक र प्रतिस्पर्धात्मक बनेको छ।
ओलीका लागि यसपटकको चुनाव पहिले जस्तो सहज छैन। राजनीतिक समीकरण, नयाँ र पुराना अनुहारको प्रतिस्पर्धा र स्थानीय मतदाताको मनोविज्ञानले झापा–५ लाई देशकै चासोको केन्द्र बनाएको छ।

Former Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN-UML, K. P. Sharma Oli, is currently busy with door-to-door campaigning in Jhapa Constituency No. 5. Having comfortably won most elections since 1991 (except the 2008 Constituent Assembly election), Oli appears to be engaged in one of his most intensive and detailed campaigns this time.
Unlike his previous strategy of addressing mass gatherings and focusing on nationwide campaigns, he is now fully concentrated on his own constituency. The political atmosphere in Jhapa–5 has become more competitive, especially after Balen Shah became active in the area.
