E is for Elephant, children's speech therapy practice at home

Описание: We are going on a speech therapy safari adventure! We will practice making the e sound as we find each elephant. Getting in enough speech therapy for a child can be difficult. Our videos are meant to supplement speech at home during down times for children. The mouth helps to teach speech therapy. It is there to be a model for the child to learn speech from. By watching the mouth form words the child is able to learn visually and audibly. Many children with speech delay are visual learners. It makes sense the visually seeing the mouth will help them make gains in their language ability. Yak Back Pack is not a replacement for speech therapy. It is to be used as a supplement along with regular speech therapy visits.

These videos are also great for learning English. ELL students find that looking at the mouth and hearing the words in context help to solidify the English language for them. Learning English like a native English speaker is very difficult. Hearing and seeing how to get the words correct will help with ones study of the language.

We hope these videos are helpful to anyone who might need a little help with kindergarten preparation, pronunciation, or even learning English in a home where English is not the predominant language spoken.

We developed these videos to help our son who has a speech delay and, in combination with professional therapy, are seeing really substantial traction. Every day is still a struggle, but he's putting more and more words together and most of his communication is now verbal.
