How To Be A Ninja | The Use Of Signals, Codes, Light & Evasion within Historical Ninjutsu Training

Описание: In this video, I discuss how to be a ninja and what exactly the job of the ninja was in feudal Japan. I also explain the use of signals, codes, light & evasion within historical ninjutsu training (忍術). Much of this training comes from a traditional section of ninjutsu training called the TenChiJin (天地人). The TenChiJin consists of 30 methods of evasion & stealth that the ninja utilized. All of these methods were inspired by nature and the ability to connect and use nature as a way to achieve ones goals.

There are a few authentic ninjutsu techniques that are demonstrated in this video. One of the techniques is called Nitton-no-jutsu (日遁の術) from Tomo-ryu Shinobijutsu (戸猛流忍術). This is the method of using the sun or light, to send signals and codes. The other technique that is demonstrated is called Hikari-no-ho (光之法 目潰) from Togakure-ryu Ninpo Taijutsu (戸隠流忍法体術). This is the method of reflecting the sunlight into the eyes of the enemy as a distraction so that you can evade.

I also discuss many real methods of signals and codes that the ninja would have used in feudal Japan. Some of them are very common, others such as the Goshiki Mai (五色米) as well as the Shinobi Iroha (忍びいろは) are not as common and well known.

This lesson is directly for the practitioners of the ancient Japanese koryu martial arts of the ninja and samurai, such as ninjutsu (ninpo) and bujutsu (budo).
