We used Public transportation in Sweden and took the train from Nynäshamn to Stockholm. From the Stockholm train station, we jumped on a streetcar and headed to the Vasa Museum before spending the rest of our afternoon and old town Stockholm. We stopped by the palace, watched the changing of the guard and had some Swedish meatballs and Fitka.

We had a great journey to discovering the beauty and charm of Stockholm, Sweden's capital city. From the charming cobblestone streets of Old Town, to the historic and amazing Vasa Museum, Stockholm a great place to visit on a cruise excursion from Nynäshamn Cruise Port. We explored some of the city's most iconic landmarks such as the Royal Palace, Gamla Stan, and the Vasa Museum all on our own with this self-booked cruise excursion using public transportation to and from the Nyashamn port.

A cruise excursion from Nynäshamn to Stockholm via bus offered by Carnival Cruises would have cost us $288 for 2 people. After purchasing our train tickets and museum tickets we spent $50 saving us over $200 compared to booking with the Cruiseline.

In July 2023 we took a cruise in Europe for 33 days out of Dover England. Our first cruise was a 12 Day Baltic Cruise.
