Yoweri Museveni has claimed that the National Unity Platform (NUP) fraudulently obtained not one million, but 2.7 million votes during the 2021 general election.
The President, who did not provide evidence to support the claim, alleged that an additional 1.7 million votes were brought into the country from Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
He made the remarks last evening during a televised programme at the Kisozi State Lodge in Gomba District, following campaign activities in Mityana and Kassanda districts.
