Woodturning - The Twist !!
In this woodworking video I use a woodturning lathe to turn a beautiful chunk of apple burl wood into a decorative chalice with a twist .
I like how it came out.
What do you think?
When woodturning a piece like this, I find it important to nibble away at it until I see what shape the wood wants to be. This is what is so enjoyable about woodturning. Big log to bowl (little bowl) but I find removing the wood in layers allows me to find the best possible shape.
