INCREDIBLE HISTORIC FORMATION DISPLAY LANCASTER BOMBER & EUROFIGHTER TYPHOON • RAF CONINGSBY

Описание: These special formations don't happen overnight and with 60 years difference between the two aircraft, it is a sight to behold. The sight and sounds are immense and these two aircraft display in formation over home base, RAF Coningsby, Lincolnshire. The Avro Lancaster is spectacular enough but to have it leading in front of Eurofighter Typhoon is something else!

Both aircraft are based at RAF Coningsby; the Avro Lancaster PA474 is part of the BBMF (Battle of Britain Memorial Flight) inventory and the Typhoon ZJ914 'Blackjack' is flown by 29 squadron's Typhoon display pilot Flt Lt Matt Brighty. Both aircraft are flying at around 120 knots, which is a similar speed for the Typhoon when air to air refuelling. Both aircraft finish with a break, leading to the Typhoon's display, ANARCHY1 takes over the skies...
