Описание: This hymn is one of the most beloved among Orthodox Christians. I love this particular setting with the longer melisma on "Pascha" near the end of the piece. The version published decades ago now from St. Vladimir's in their Pascha music book simplified it, omitting that section. The simplified version still lingers out there in many parishes, but you can hear for yourself how dynamic and exuberant it makes this piece, celebrating the sheer joy of our Lord's rising again on the third day!
