Recently, Melbourne entered a 5 day (circuit breaker) lockdown, to give contact tracers enough time to catch up on UK variant cases of COVID-19. This is a stage 4 lockdown which means that there are only 4 reasons to leave home. These 4 reasons include - shopping for essentials (groceries), medical care and caregiving, permitted work and education (schools are closed) and exercise. We also have to wear masks everywhere except at home. All of this meant that Ale and I had to be creative and find ways to enjoy this short and hard Melbourne lockdown. We can’t change it, so we might as well make the most of it!

Ale is from Sydney so he is basically stuck in melbs to do lockdown with me - at least we have each other! Hopefully the lockdown ends on Wednesday so we can fly out to our pre planned trip to Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
