Indian Railways is accelerating modernization with innovative track upgrades to support faster trains, spotlighting Vosslo Fastening Systems' "fit-and-go" technology. In a NewsStation exclusive, Priyank Etaria, Vosslo's Head of Engineering, unveiled these screw-based tension clamps replacing outdated e-clips, tailored for high-speed reliability.
Deployed in Vijayawada (South Central Railway) and Visakhapatnam (East Coast Railway), the system slashes maintenance needs. "No daily checks like old setups," Etaria said. "Screws ensure stability, and high-torque tools prevent easy tampering or theft of pandrol clips—common vulnerabilities."

Angle-guided base plates distribute forces evenly, minimizing shear stress and slippage. Ideal for 200-250 kmph speeds, it aligns with Railways' ambitious corridors. "This empowers our high-speed goals while prioritizing safety," Etaria noted.

Trials on dedicated tracks seek approvals for nationwide rollout. Though slightly costlier, Vosslo optimizes for value: "It's an investment in disruption-free travel." Siddharatha emphasized, "Robust components are vital as speeds rise."
