How to Make an Omelet in a Bag

I, (filmed by my husband) show How to make a healthier version of an omelet with now butter or oil. If you can cut veggies, crack an egg, and boil water you can make an omelet.
Things you will need:
Eggs
Whatever you want in your omelet (salt, pepper,veggies, cheese, meats that are fully cooked)
Pot of boiling water
Bag (NO FLIP TOP MAKE SURE BAGS SEAL CLOSE WITH INTERLOCK OR SLIDE LOCK)
*Please note that it is important to make sure you have a bag that seals close so NO FLIP TOP BAGS. Also make sure you meats (Bacon, Sausage, or Ham) is fully cooked before adding to your omelet bag. And if you add tomatoes if you leave the juice in make sure you add to the cook time, if you don't want to add cook time, drain the juice and just add the flesh and the regular 13 minutes will do just fine.*
If cooking more than one at a time label bags so you don't get someone else's eggs.
Great idea for sleep overs or for having the kids help mix in the bag...
For smaller portions use smaller bags and/or add less eggs if desired.
Add eggs and other desired ingredients in your plastic bag. seal bag and remove air leaving the egg at the bottom, place bag in a boiling water for 13 minutes.
Directions:
Cut veggies and pre-cooked meat
Crack 3 eggs into bag, close bag and squish with hands to scramble.
Place desired ingredients in bag with eggs
Close bag and squish with hands to mix. (DO NOT SHAKE BAG)
Open bag half way and remove air careful to keep eggs at bottom of bag.
Close bag and place in pot of boiling water for 13 minutes or until fully cooked.
Once done, carefully remove bags from boiling water and place on plates.
Cut open bag and slide eggs out on to plate.
Garnish as desired and enjoy!
