Rachel and Becky Unthank, performers and historians of folk music, reported on Lewes Bonfire in 2012, for the BBC programme "A Very English Winter". Whilst no reportage can possibly do justice to Lewes Bonfire, respecting all its serious history and traditions, this ten-minute report came closer than most. Possibly, this is due to Rachel and Becky's own knowledge of, and respect for, English folk traditions from all corners of the country and beyond.
