Stockholm to Hanko sailing trip in 1958.
This 20 minutes film covers the sail to Stockholm and the archipelago and back to Hanko in Finland, some 200 nautical miles. The journey was made with the 6mR yacht L13 Otsiria with a crew of seven. The captain was colonel Lauri Hiisi and at the camera was our mother Leila. It was about the first possibility to sail to Sweden in the past war times. A lot has changed since, but everything remains very familiar. We hope you enjoy this film we have not seen in 50 years. It is a beautiful occasion to ask again what paradises are made of.
