The working relationship, and later friendship, of Weil Business Finance & Restructuring partners Marcia Goldstein and Ronit Berkovich began in 2002, when Ms. Goldstein received a call from then-Harvard Professor Elizabeth Warren, who recommended that Weil interview Ms. Berkovich. In this video, the two attorneys describe how, over the next 17 years, they worked together on such matters as the WorldCom bankruptcy and recently the Takata restructuring, which earned them both The American Lawyer’s 2019 Dealmaker of the Year award.
