After months of planning and fundraising, the student-run organization Sticks for Change successfully broke the world record for the largest stick bomb while raising over $4,000 for local charities. It took a team of 27 builders to build the stick bomb, and almost every single stick built was successfully activated in an explosion lasting a little more than 15 seconds.The final count from the record attempt was 68,480 sticks, which beats the previous world record of 40,910 sticks held by the Tulln Domino Team in Austria. Only 138 sticks failed to explode.
