Plot: We are in the Grishaverse, there are factions, there are summoners of light and darkness. Of these Summoners there are only two, the Darkling and Hope Mikaelson.
But there seems to be a curse on them, because despite being immortal, she continues to die and for some reason to resurrect.
Hope is reborn and years later she meets the boy she loved in her previous life and is still the only one who evokes light but without any memory. Each time she falls in love again and he doesn't tell her the truth about their story, fearing that this will condemn her.
Our story begins right at the very last death of her, when she is killed and Aleksander is furious with fate deciding to change everything.
Years later Hope is reborn, same name and powers but different friends, she only has one named Mal, both orphans. Mal is in love with her.
Both are soldiers headed for the fault, the Rakva plague created mysteriously hundreds years earlier. The moment she touches the darkness of the fault she begins to have visions and once inside she saves Mal, revealing her powers.
She is taken by General Kirigan who recognizes her, she knows she's the woman he loves about her but he can't tell her anything. Hope is taken to the Little Palace, away from Mal and begins to meet Aleksander, but what haunts her are her dreams. She dreams of several lives, the Darkling is younger and they are happy together. She never remembers how it ends, because they are not together and so she confesses to her general of her visions about hem.
Aleksander is shocked by this news and Hope begins to have powerful visions of the past, she loses control of her powers.
The Darkling kisses her, exhausted from waiting and she falls in love with him again but in doing so he confesses that she's destined to be reborn every time. In terror she meets Mal, who secretly takes her away from the palace but she still does not remember everything about her and for this she fears that Aleksander is her villain.
Only when they are away does she have a panic attack and finally remember. In the previous life she was the daughter of the King and she fell in love with her and ran away from her when she discovered she was a grisha, the King gave the order to kill them and Aleksander had to see her die again in front of him.
The Darkling's anger and pain explodes when she brings the girl back from the grisha, finds the king and him soldiers, accidentally creates the Fault.
Hope also believes it is her fault for who died in the fault and she finds Aleksander, they argue over this. He loves her and confesses to her plan, to change destiny to make them live together forever but only if together they will use the fault against their enemies.
Hope is grieved but she knows that out of control the fault will destroy the world and so she eventually forgives him, breaking the curse. They will stay together forever and the world will be theirs.
