Short video of the massive waves whipped up by Storm Herminia on the north coast in West Cornwall.
This was the biggest swell I have seen in a long time. Surf forecasting sites were predicting waves of 30 to 40 feet. It's always difficult to estimate the size of waves without a reference point, but these waves were definitely huge.
Unfortunately I had lots of technical issues filming today, so the quality isn't quite what I'd have liked. That said you can definitely get a feel of the power of the sea.
