Gina O’Brien is the proud younger sister of Ashley O’Brien, who has Prader-Willi syndrome. The sister and brother grew up in Melbourne, Australia. Their favourite pastime is adventuring on neighbourhood walks.
In 2016, Gina left to play college basketball at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, in the United States. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Outdoor & Community Recreation Education, and is finishing a master’s degree in Professional Communication.
Gina is passionate about sharing her story with PWS families, hoping she can help other siblings of loved ones with rare genetic disorders.”
