Описание: If you're a software vendor hosting your own platform, SPLA might not be required. When you own the solution, don't provide direct Windows Server access, and especially if it’s a web-based application, you may qualify for self-hosting rights. That means using volume licences with Software Assurance instead of SPLA.

The rules are strict, and you must meet all the criteria, but if you tick the boxes, self-hosting is often cheaper. Don’t assume SPLA is your only option. Check whether you actually need it.
