Army training exercise with British troops taking the part of the Germans. The story could pass for an actual attack as actions and uniforms do not look fake.
M/S of pillbox in sand dunes. M/S of British soldier crawling through the dunes. C/U of soldier beckoning. Various shots of Assault Detachment Commander joining the soldier in the dunes.
C/U of two German soldiers by window of pillbox. One points his gun outside, the other looks through binoculars. M/S of group of British soldiers huddled in dunes. Natural sound, we hear officer in charge of attack giving precise commands to the section leaders. C/U of German soldier looking through binoculars. M/S of British soldiers marching through salt marshes.
M/S of Germans. One of them spots the British soldiers and shouts "Achtung" (in a plausible German accent), the other German fires his machine gun. M/S of British firing smoke bombs at pill box. The Germans retaliate. Various shots British troops firing guns at pillbox. Inter cut with various shots of British soldiers cutting barbed wire around pillbox.
The officer fires his pistol to signal to his men. They charge towards the pillbox with bayonets fixed. Various shots of British soldiers taking the pillbox. The German soldiers come out with their arms up, looking very cowardly and frightened. One the German's has to be dragged out as he is badly wounded.
Note: British soldiers are playing part of Germans.
